Workspaces Overview¶
A Workspace in Falkonry is a dedicated environment—much like a worksheet—where users can create, organize, and manage different types of analytical models. Workspaces provide a structured way to experiment, test, and evaluate models before deploying them in production. Each user can create their own Workspace, and Workspaces can be organized hierarchically using trees for better management and collaboration.
Purpose and Benefits¶
-
Develop with Autonomy: Expanded User-Driven Modeling
Workspaces empower you with direct control to create, revise, and manage models through an intuitive user interface. You can independently drive modeling activities, accelerating innovation and reducing dependencies on external support. -
The Common Workspace
With a unified view, you can efficiently build digital twins of assets. This consolidated environment eliminates "tab-switching" fatigue and ensures that critical data context is preserved throughout your development process. -
Comprehensive Model Lifecycle
With workspaces, you are empowered to build, deploy, and update Anomalies, Calculations, and Rules models through a streamlined interface. -
High-Confidence Evaluations
Before deploying to production, you can use expanded simulation tools to "back-test" all types of models against historical data and validate performance, ensuring high reliability before going live. -
Centralized Modeling Activities
You can centralize all your modeling activities in one place for easier management. -
Experimentation and Iteration
You can experiment and iterate on models without affecting production data. -
Collaboration and Organization
Workspaces support collaboration and allow you to group related models and experiments together. -
Audit Trail and Versioning
You get a clear audit trail and versioning for your model development and evaluation.
